Methodology

Where AI creates value: three indicators to look for in a process.

High volumes, rework and knowledge concentrated in a few individuals: how to identify the steps where intervention delivers measurable results.

When clients ask us where to introduce AI, our first answer concerns the process rather than the technology: which steps consume the most hours, where errors concentrate, and who is the only person able to handle an exception.

Volume

A ten-minute task performed three hundred times a month carries more weight than a complex task that occurs twice a year. The first step of any assessment is quantification: how many requests, how many documents, how many checks.

Rework

Every case that is sent back represents a hidden cost. Where a significant share of the work involves correcting incomplete data or chasing missing information, an automated upstream check can free up capacity across the team.

Concentrated knowledge

Many processes rely on tacit rules. Documenting those rules is valuable in itself; with AI, it becomes the foundation for an assistant that applies them consistently.

These indicators show where to focus. The decision follows, based on a field pilot. In some cases the pilot shows the investment is not justified, and that is a valuable result too.
